If you are experiencing issues with our Agile S or Agile S NI, the support team will require detailed information about them. It is important for our support team to know which devices are being used and what issues are occurring.
Mandatory information - on type label:
- Type number (see type lable)
- Serial number (see type lable)
- BARTEC build number of the instaled (or original delivered) operating system (see type lable)
Optionally, or in relation to a specific problem, please try to provide more detailed device information.
- HotTab or Mobility Center version
- BIOS version
- current Microsoft build number
Type label
The type label can be found in the battery compartment of the Agile S/Agile S NI.
It is lockated on the backside of the device.
The battery can be removed by the user in a safe are (non Ex-area).

HotTab or Mobility Center version
HotTab or Mobility Center provides a system service and a desktop application.
The service has access to the system registry and allows control of all devices, even when no user is logged in.
- HotTab is the system service for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise CBB/SAC
- Mobility Center is the system service for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC
What can I read out in the tools?
- BIOS version
- EC version
- Version of HotTab or Mobility Center
- Operating system (OS) version (BARTEC name of the installed OS image
- Serial number of the device
