The Ex-compliant connection and handling is described in the BARTEC manuals.

If information overlaps with the BARTEC manuals, then follow the information in the BARTEC manuals. The BARTEC manuals are of higher priority.


The BCS36x8ex is equivalent to the following Zebra devices:

  • Corded BCS3608ex => DS3608-HP or ER hand-held scanner
  • Bluetooth BCS3678ex => DS3678-HP or ER Bluetooth hand-held scanner
