The cables are Ex e rated and can be connected to all Ex systems with compatible specifications. It is essential to ensure that the cabling complies with Ex e installation guidelines. The BCS3608ex-NI scanner system has the following Ex-relevant specifications.
- Cable for power supply and data line in Ex e: Must be mechanically protected for installation.
- Plug connection (USB or RS232): Must be mechanically protected against accidental loosening/pulling.
- Connection: The connection must be made in an Ex-tested terminal compartment.
